Daniel Sponenburg
Daniel Sponenburg has been providing Piano Service for more than 50 years
to the Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey areas. He has been an RPT member
of the Piano Technicians Guild since 1982. He worked for many years as a
Concert Piano Technician servicing pianos for many Universities, Recording
Studios and Concert Halls including, Radio City Music Hall, RCA Studios,
The David Letterman Show, The Apollo Theater, The Winter Garden, The Gershwin,
Carnegie Hall, The Waldorf Astoria, and the World Trade Center, The Statue
of Liberty, The Intrepid Aircraft Carrier among many others.
Piano technical training was received at Pennsylvania State University, Oberlin
Music Conservatory, Steinway, Yamaha, Mason and Hamlin, Kimball International,
and many Piano Technician Guild Regional and National Conventions. Dan is
skilled in all aspects of piano repair, tuning, voicing, and rebuilding.
Musically, Daniel performs for local establishments, charity groups and fund
raisers. He also does "sing-along" at schools and nursing homes. He also
sings baritone and bass with various a cappella church choirs and has been
a Reader and Cantor in his church.
Daniel currently resides in Pottsville Pennsylvania.

passed a series of stringent examinations on the maintenance, repair, and
tuning of pianos.
